Alison Krauss
Alison Krauss was born July 23, 1971, in the city of Decatur, Illinois. LeAnn Kymes, along with Krauss, were amongst the youngest Grammy Award-winners. Alison Maria Krauss - born July 23rd 1971 - is a popular American bluegrass and country vocalist. She started working in the world of music in the early years of her life. When she was 10, she won local contests, and then recorded her debut album. When she was 14, she enrolled with Rounder Records and in 1987 she released her first solo album. In 1989, she was asked to join Alison Krauss & Union Station together with whom she performed.
