Simone Biles

Simone Biles is an American gymnast. Born on the 14th of March 1997 in Columbus Ohio U.S.A. The 2016 Olympics took place in Rio de Janeiro and Biles became the U.S.'s only female gymnast to be awarded four gold medals. Biles also took home the world championship for all-around 3 times in succession (2013-15). Biles grew up within Spring Texas in the Houston metropolitan area after she and her sister Adria had been adopted by parents Ronald and Nellie Biles. Simone began to take an interest in gymnastics at age six when she took a field trip for day care at Bannon's Gymnastix and she remained there for eleven years under the guidance of her instructor Aimee Boorman. Biles was a winner in the vault and floor exercises at the women's Junior Olympic National Championships before getting to the elite competition level in the year 2011. In less than two years, she became the most successful athlete in her discipline. Biles stood out for her consistently consistent and having a lively energy and joyful personality. She also integrated an extreme amount of difficulty to all her activities - vault uneven bars floor exercise.
