In addition to being an NBA All-Star, James was picked to an NBA All-NBA Team on 18 occasions. Ten NBA Finals is the most ever, including eight consecutively from 2011 to 2018; He was also picked to be on the NBA 75th Anniversary Team. James was selected for his way onto the NBA 75th Anniversary Team in 2021. In 2022, he became the first NBA player to earn 10,000 career points. James was a basketball player during his time at St. Vincent St. Mary High School in Akron Ohio, where he lived his entire life. National media touted him as a potential NBA star. He was a prep-to pro and was the first selection of the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Draft of 2003.
