Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe was born into an ethnically mixed family. Her father and mother have both been English. She went to The Brit School when she was fourteen years old. In London, she studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art where her acting degree was earned. While attending the school was when she performed in various stage plays, including the King Henry V as Princess Katherine and Wuthering Heights as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe began her acting career through the movie Storm Damage. In the years since, she's had appearances in guest roles for Teachers, Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's first film of debut came from the Woody Allen 2007 film Cassandra's Dream. She starred alongside Colin Farrell & Ewan MacGregor. Following that, she played Elisha (a BBC Three drama-pilot) in West 10 LDN. Additionally she appeared in Trexx as Ollie as well as six episodes of Flipside. In 2008, she was cast as Bambi who was the leading character in ITV2's comedy Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe appeared in the comedy How to Lose Friends and alienate others (2008). She has performed in Little Sweet Thing, by Roy Williams, and Flight Path which was written composed by David Watson.
Madekwe was chosen to play Ashley Davenport for ABC's Drama The Beautiful Life. The two-episode show aired only for 2 weeks at The CW and then it was cancelled. Ashley Davenport was her role in ABC's drama Revenge. Madekwe had appeared in all episodes of the series' second season as the show's regular. However, in May of 2013, news broke that Madekwe will leave the show after her appearance as a guest on the premiere episode of its third season. In the TV series Salem in 2014, she portrayed Tituba from 2014 until the year 2016. Then, in June of 2012 Madekwe was married to her long-time love, actor Iddo Goldberg. Alongside Secret Diary of a Call Girl they also appeared with each other on Salem and he had part in the show with her. that show.
Ashley Leggat was born in Hamilton, Ontario, into the extended family of a huge, large. Ashley Leggat joined Roy and Patty and her other siblings, Brett, Todd and Bram as well as Rob. Ashley's family, which is all athletes, play baseball in summers and played hockey in winters. Ashley didn't walk, instead she was a dancer. When she was two and a half, she was introduced to Baby Ballet. This was the beginning of Ashley's passion for dance.
