Angela Gossow Urach
Angela Gossow grew up in Cologne alongside three other siblings. She was 17 years old at the time her parents separated. Further financial troubles came in when the company they owned went under. The fact that she was bipolar and anorexic and bulimic, further exacerbated the problems she was facing. Concerning her decision to step down in the role of singer for ARCH ENEMY, Gossow stated that there's an appropriate time and space for everything. My professional career started in 1991. In the end, I had lost the enjoyment of doing all this while living in a constantly changing environment. So I decided to step off instead of playing.
