Lisa Edelstein is an American actor, most famous for her role in the Fox medical show, House. Her family was from Wayne where she was a part of a traditional Jewish tradition. When she was 18, she emigrated into New York City to study at the Tisch School of the Arts. However, very quickly she was active in the club scene, making enough splashes to get noticed by the press, concurrently, becoming aware of the devastating effect of AIDS. Her experiences and her fame in order to compose and write a musical titled Positive Me which she starred. The first time she was hired, she got her first position with MTV as the anchor of Awake on The Wild Side shortly after. Once the program was over the actress went on to join the film and TV productions. She started with smaller roles, and then became established slowly as an actress.
