Kari Samantha (born April 28th in 1967) Wuhrer is an American actor and singer. Her career began when she was a teenager and is best known for her roles as Maggie Beckett in the television series Sliders as well as her role as Sheriff Samantha Parker in the horror comedy film Eight Legged Freaks.Wuhrer was born in Brookfield, Connecticut, the daughter of Karin (nee Noble), an accountant for payroll, as well as German American Andrew Wuhrer, an officer in the police force and a automobile salesman.
